Karen Ingwell, Church Secretary

I grew up in southwest Wisconsin with four sisters and one brother.  In 1975 I graduated from Pecatonica High School (Blanchardville) and in May of 1979 I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a major in Technical Communications/Publications Management and a minor in Graphic Arts.  In June of 1979 Scott and I were married. After college, I worked locally for two newspapers and a printing company before we moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1989. We relocated to Cartersville in 1992 for Scott’s job with Anheuser-Busch, which he retired from in 2019.  I worked part-time at a local printing company and volunteered at church and school.  In October 2006, I began serving as church secretary at Savior of All.  Scott and I have been blessed with two daughters, Amanda and Heidi.  I enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing lawn work, watching football (Georgia, Green Bay, and Wisconsin) and quilting.

Marcia Guse, Music Director

My name is Marcia Guse (it’s pronounced Goozee).  I was born in Saint Louis, Missouri but was raised in Brazil.  I moved back to the U.S. in 2001 with my husband Ed and my 3 sons: Martim, Anderson, and Bruno.  My music world started when I was 5 years old. Piano was my instrument for years to come, besides guitar. Later, I became Music Deaconess at the Lutheran Seminary in Brazil and their music teacher as well. There I met my lovely husband.  I was very happy when I received the call to be the Music Director at Savior of All because music is a very important part of the service and this way I could use my gift for the glory of God.

Psalm 98:4 says: “Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises.” This is my prayer every week when I come to church!
